Fun times in the life of TJ this week. I was at my sister's house Saturday to help out with the kiddos. We didn't do much other than run to the Dr. and go to Chick Fil A. but I came home thoroughly exhausted that night. Those two kids are on the go! Liam is 3.5 years old and Evelyn is 15 months. Juggling the two of them and making sure they are not into stuff is a full time job. Evelyn is climbing on everything and has to take everything apart. She is a very funny sweet kid... but she is on the go constantly. My sister kept saying "what am I going to do when Mom is gone?" My mom comes in today for a week and a half... and then my sister is on her own to take care of a 3 week old baby and the two other kids. She doesn't know what she is going to do. I came home for the day on Sunday and Dax and I were introduced. We got a taste for what his internship will be like and the people in the church. We really like the church... and are looking forward to getting plugged in there. We went out to lunch with the youth pastor (25 year old girl and her fiance) and she filled us in on all the goings on in the office... which Dax found out later is not all that true.... Still, very entertaining. Sunday afternoon, I was off to my sisters again until Wednesday night. Aunt Berries (that is what Liam called me) was in full effect. I took them to the zoo, up to see their cousins in Philly and all over the place so that my sister would have some time to get used to Lucy and get some rest. I think she needed it. I came home Wednesday night really missing my Daxy and my dog. I was so glad to be home. Yesterday I went to the Squeeze concert at Wolf Trappe for JP's birthday. That was very fun to hang with the chica's. I love summery stuff like that. Other than the fact that I only know the two popular songs by Squeeze, Kate having a complete meltdown that we fed with wine and chocolate, and it raining on us... it was a great time. I had to drop off a rent check to my landlord this morning because apparently the on that I mailed in July never made it to them. I got the idea that she thought I was lying to her about mailing it. I don't like that feeling. Especially when I am NOT lying. Tired and worn out today ... and REALLY REALLY glad it is Friday.
